Saga Engine
A creative writing proof for making AI less bland: strict rules, odd points of view, no forced lessons, and internet-native story shapes.
Why This Exists
The Saga Engine is not a business operations tool. It is a creative proof that shows what happens when an AI is given strong taste, hard boundaries, and permission to stop being a bland helper.
It makes serialized, internet-familiar stories, but blocks the usual boring habits: moral lessons, tidy endings, default conflict, and the same helpful voice in every paragraph.
POV Fluidity
Can write from people, objects, systems, or time-bound states while keeping each voice distinct.
Absurd Escalation
Conflict is optional. Escalation can come from accumulation, delay, misread signals, or rules getting out of hand.
Look Back Mode
An analytical sub-routine (/llb) that extracts resonant quotes and reframes the human situation without summarizing plot or issuing lessons.
Prompt Engineering Constraints
Strict ban on moralizing, forced lessons, and single "takeaways"
Mandatory requirement for distinct voices across different POVs
Reddit format palette blending (AITA, MaliciousCompliance, etc.)
Endings palette prohibiting repetition of the same ending type
Quote extraction restricted to emotionally clean, non-prescriptive lines
User-directed interaction loops overriding all defaults
Creative Demonstration
Built as a Gemini Gem to show how strong instructions can steer a model away from bland helper prose.
